This is a place that has blessed our family for over 35 years with memories and special family time and we hope it does the same for you and your loved ones.

Looking for a cabin with its own sandy beach? One with a level lot to the lake? It’s time to build family memories! Our 1200 sq. ft. Perch Lake cabin is surrounded by large Norway Pines & White Birch and the view down the lake from inside and outside are amazing. Want to see one of the top 17 beaches in North America? McCarthy Beach State Park is minutes away (the shallow water extends hundreds of feet into the lake) and is near many tourist attractions.

Kitchen is well equipped for quick snacks to full dinners, a microwave, 2 refrigerators, portable electric griddles, utensils, plates and Electric stove. The living room has Apple TV, and the screen porch has a picnic table where you can watch wildlife and try to spot a your neighbor - a beautiful Bald Eagle! Topped off with knotty pine throughout.

Sleeping arrangement: Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 bunks - one Full Bed on lower bunk. All bedding sheets and blankets provided.

Unique Features

This cabin comes with a new 12 X 16 Private bunk house that sleeps 7 (a popular place for teens) -a bonus for parents. Your lake, beach and lawn activity is covered too: We have life jackets, air mattresses, lawn chairs, horseshoe pit, games, beach toys, croquet and more! The 4-person paddle boat is a relaxing way to explore the shore.

Crystal clear Perch Lake is one of 5 nearby lakes so bring your boat or ask us about area boat/canoe/kayak rentals. This is a place to stay, your way!

Things To Do

With a shallow sandy bottom, our Side Lake, MN cabin on Perch Lake is perfect for little children. With abundant largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleyes and northerns, anglers will have a blast (use our fishing boat and a few fishing rods with light tackle). End each day gathered around the lakeside fire pit for stories and s’mores.

Though there are plenty of 4-Season Vacation experiences in Side Lake, MN, our favorites is fall - talk about beautiful colors for a quiet getaway. The cabin is full of large picture window to let the colors in! Plus the Field of Screams Haunted Tours are in October. Hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders can enjoy scenic trails in and beyond McCarthy Beach State Park by jumping on the Taconite State Trail.
