This unique vacation home is inspired by Minnesota's legend: Paul Bunyan. The exterior of the home resembles a log stump and Paul's red ax on the side. But get this, there's actually a whirlpool tub tucked inside the Ax! Inside, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace will catch your eye. The custom log furniture completes the home. Between the two bedrooms, there are two queen beds and two sets of bunkbeds. From the loft area upstairs, step outside to your private deck which overlooks Leech Lake.
Children love this magical escape, adults love the modern amenities. Paul Bunyan's Guest House is right on the water and offers fantastic lake views. With your rental, you have access to paddle boats, kayaks, water trampoline, water bikes, fun bugs & canoes FOR FREE. There's also a game room and children's playground . By the water there is a sandy beach, dock, and a protected harbor.
This is a family friendly resort. Throughout the week, there are a variety of activities for children: ask for details! Paul Bunyan's house was the coolest place we have ever stayed in! Such interesting decor, just like we were inside of the storybook. And also very clean and comfy. We had a wonderfully relaxing week before school started! - Sue Rostad (Rochester, Minnesota)
