Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Loon Point Resort in June of 2023 and we hope to return for years to come. The resort exceeded our expectations with its sense of hospitality and quality: Sherrie and John offered such a warm and genuine welcome to all guests; the Tamarack Cabin was immaculately clean, well decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for adults and kids (we especially appreciated the closet full of toys, lawn games, board games, and cards); the beach was a wonderland of play with a water trampoline, paddle boards, canoes, and many sand toys. We also appreciated the playground, fire pits, volleyball court, basketball hoop, and many other amenities. Our family couldn't have been happier with our experience and would highly recommend Loon Point Resort! Alexis Nelson
Everything from booking the house, talking with John and Sherri who are super friendly and helpful, the directions to finding the place, checking in was as simple and easy as possible. There were 5 of us in our group. We stayed in the white pine cabin. Private, beautiful and as close to perfect as it gets . Beds are super comfy. Water nice and hot. Tho dont run the nice dishwasher while u shower tho. Laundry in the house. The kitchen is so stocked you need nothing but the food. Planning on baking no problem roasting a turkey got it covered. Whatever u wanna make u can. Nice open area with lots of counter space. The water is amazing. No need for bottled this is same or better. Games cards puzzles are great. The chipmunks are so friendly. Please bring a bag of in shell unsalted peanuts. U will have them eating out of ur hands. Or laps if u want. We petted them and all. It makes the days even better. While we were there we noticed a light burnt out and when John came and got garbage we told him and was back within not even an hour and fixed it. They really do what it takes to give u a nice stay. He knows his fishing he can help u out and he does great with a crash course on driving a pontoon. Had no issues. The lake is great. Eagles nest within site on an island we saw the eagle go fishing. The loon sounds randomly are so beautiful. If getting away but being very comfortable is ur goal loon point resort is ur place. Ur not gonna regret it. We will be going back for years to come. We really didn't want to leave. amelia severson

My family and I come here every August and we absolutely love our time here! The cabins are great and me and my Fiancee love the beach. The fishing is also great if you know where to go! Aiden Sanborn
What a GREAT week we had!!! Can't wait to go back next summer!! It was so peaceful and yet fun things to do for us all from kayaking to feeding the chipmunks. Pontoon was a great addition to the week as well. Jill N
Very nice cabins. Clean and well kept. True "Up North" feeling. We went snowmobiling and the access to trails directly from the resort was excellent and trails are well groomed and run through State and National forest land. Beautiful!!! Plan to go back next year. Peter R
