Come visit us at Voyageurs Sunrise Resort! Situated on the beautiful Lake Kabetogama, we pride ourselves on the stunning views and hospitality offered here. With fifteen comfortable cabins to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect place to stay! All of our cabins have a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with shower, and charcoal grill. They range in size from two to four cozy bedrooms. We can accommodate multiple group sizes here. We also have campsites complete with RV hookups.
Of course, when staying on the lake, you likely want to get out on the water! We offer plenty of boat rental options if you do. Fishers will be delighted by the abundance of bass, walleye, and crappies in Lake Kabetogama. When you reel in a big one, make sure to bring it to the fish cleaning house! And if you don't fish, a day on the water in a pontoon boat can still be incredibly relaxing. Just you, the sun, and the open water...what could be better?
If you forget something at home, never fret. Voyageurs Sunrise Resort has a lodge that sells basic necessities as well as extra supplies such as maps, charcoal, and firewood. We also have internet access in the lounge, so you don't have to fear being disconnected from home!
Voyageurs Sunrise Resort has an exceptional view of Lake Kabetogama. As our name implies, nothing is more gorgeous than the first few rays of daylight peeking over the horizon and shining on the lake. After you've enjoyed the sunrise, get out there and experience the water for yourself with our boat rentals or relax on our sandy beach. Either way, you're sure to enjoy the view!
Our resort has plenty of on-site recreation, including:
Boat rentals
Internet lodge
Sandy beach
Fish house
Trampoline
Of course, if you want to explore more of our beautiful surroundings, who could blame you? You won't want to miss seeing Voyageurs National Park. The park has an abundance of wildlife to view, many hiking trails, and stunningly clear skies. In fact, Voyageurs is home to approximately 95 species of birds alone! Make sure to bring binoculars and a field guide if you're an avid bird watcher. Some trails that provide the best opportunities to view our feathered friends include Dryweed Island and Anderson Bay.
Voyageurs National Park also offers guests the unique opportunity to view the majestic Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis. This is one of only a few places in the lower United States where you can glimpse it, so be sure to look up! Even if you don't catch the famed natural phenomenon, you'll be in awe of the sheer amount of constellations you can view from here. And, after a long day of adventure, you can rest easy in your cozy cabin at Voyageurs Sunrise Resort.
