You could spend your whole vacation just at the resort! If you do choose to explore farther, be sure to check out the rest of Voyageurs National Park. This park is well known for its many hiking, fishing, and birdwatching opportunities. The lake is full of walleye and bass, so anglers will want to spend a day on the water. Meanwhile, birdwatchers will enjoy tracking down the 95 species of birds that live in the park. Dryweed Island and Anderson Bay are two perfect trails to spot birds, so bring your binoculars!
Voyageurs is also known for being one of the few places in the continental United States where you can view the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. This natural phenomenon is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so make sure to look upwards. And when you're all tuckered out, we'll be waiting to welcome you home at Pines of Kabetogama.

Nice location. Beautiful large sites up top, literally above. Nice overlook of the lake. Paved sites. Helpful staff. Close to all 3 Voyageur Visitor Centers. Carol Vaughn
This was our first trip here. The service is beyond anything I could have anticipated! All of the workers were super friendly and incredibly helpful. They made the stay fantastic!!! We rented a boat and had a great day in the boat fishing. The bathrooms and showers (as well as everything else) were incredibly clean!! I cannot recommend this campground (we had a fish house but they have cabins) enough! Becky Alm
Great resort! Nice place with friendly stuff and gorgeous Mother Nature! Gueorgui Petkov
Nicest people will bend over to do things for you kids. Love it. Shy Sommers
Sunsets are gorgeous @ The Pines of Kabetogama Resort! Russ Davis
The pictures do not do justice to this very CLEAN and well-maintained resort. The marina is very nice and the people who work at the resort couldn't have been more helpful. Kim Koch Krug
We came her for the weekend and loved it. Lots of dock space a nice island bouncer to play on in water. Also a nice swing set and other activities. People were very friendly and helpful. My daughter just loved the resort concierge's 2 dogs and they were very nice to let her see and pet them. Amanda Koski
My husband and I just spent 4 days and nights at this resort this past week. The staff was wonderful! They couldn't have treated us any better. They did everything to make us feel welcome during our entire stay. They took care of us from start to finish. They were all so wonderful that I will not mention any names because I do not want to leave anyone out. We had our Camper up on the cliffside overlooking the resort and the lake. It was absolutely beautiful with a million dollar view. We had wonderful campfires every night. They provided a very generous size fire ring and they have firewood available. They have spared no expense in modernizing and updating this beautiful resort. In fact they were hard at work every day that we were there making more and more improvements. I would say it is still a work in progress. It is a new resort and it is not large, but very nice. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and modern. The only drawback with the bathrooms is there is only one womens and one mens bathroom. They even have laundry. They have a pontoon and boats for rent, a fish cleaning station, and very nice cabins.
