If you choose to venture beyond the resort, you'll want to check out Voyageurs National Park. This park is well known for boating, hiking, and birding opportunities. You'll have plenty of opportunities to view the park by boat and on foot. In fact, some hiking trails in the park are only accessible via boat! Some of these trails include Mukooda Trail, Black Bay Beaver Pond Trail, and Anderson Bay Loop. Keep an eye out for birds, as Voyageurs is home to 95 different species!
At night, make sure to look up. This national park is one of the only places in the lower United States where you can view the Aurora Borealis! Even if you don't catch a glimpse of this stunning natural phenomenon, you're sure to see some beautiful constellations overhead. And when you're all tuckered out, you can return home to the cozy Park Point Resort.

We highly recommend Park Point Resort. We’ve rented nice quality fishing boats here several times. The Cooper’s are continually upgrading the docks, cabins and grounds and offer beautifully maintained lakeside cabins— now in the winter too! Tracy Dee Cook Lindstrom
Great little resort!!!! The cabins are good but you'll be spending all of your time outside hopefully so that doesn't even matter. great docks, view, and nice little sandy beach for swimming, it really was a nice place to take our family vacation. The owners knew the area and lake really well and had good ideas for things to do. It's a great place to stay! Heidi Rebecca
A wonderful place to stay for a week of fishing and family time. The resort owners were fabulous. Very accommodating for our large group. Great boat landing and nice docks. Perfect swimming beach for kids. Jessica Peterson
Some of the best memories ever at this resort. Having an awesome time. Savannah Crawford
I've been going up here for 40 plus years. Staying at Park Point has become one of the most enjoyable times of my year. I don't think you can beat the fishing or sites in this area. I've been all over the world and I go back to Park Point every year at least once. The owners are tremendous and sometimes sarcastic to me because they know I enjoy it! Mark Crawford
I absolutely give Park Point Resort 5+++ stars....The cabins are cozy and nice and clean..Jason and Robyn are amazingly thoughtful and very helpful. I would recommend this beautiful place to EVERY ONE so you can say you enjoyed a slice of heaven. Tammy Too Much Krueger
