Welcome to our resort, Grandview of Lake Kabetogama! We're here to ensure you have the best possible visit to the area. When arriving at Grandview, you'll be stunned by the beautiful lakefront views. We have five cozy cabins for you to stay in, and each has its own charm! Each cabin is equipped with two or three bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and satellite TV and WiFi. You'll feel at home in the cozy bedrooms and love the charming interiors.
Of course, it wouldn't be a lake trip without fishing! Canoes and kayaks are provided free for guests to use, and boat and pontoon rentals are available as well. There are multiple docks in addition to a large fishing pier that all guests can use. We even offer a fish cleaning service, if you would like to grill up your latest catch. There is also a sandy beach and complimentary water toys are provided for a day full of fun!
Grandview has a resort store to provide for any extra supplies you may need. The store includes necessities such as bait, charcoal, ice, light groceries, and more! Even better: Grandview is pet friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friend.
Grandview has a multi-dock system, so there is plenty of room for boats! You can rent a boat or bring your own. You're also welcome to fish from the pier, and we offer fish cleaning services and kitchen equipment so you can make a meal from what you catch. If fishing isn't your thing, you can also relax on the sandy beach or swim in the lake. Water toys are provided for free, so get out there and have some fun!
Grandview has many amenities on-site, including:
Boat rentals

Water toys
Resort Store
Books/Games/DVDs to borrow
There's so much to do that you could spend your whole time at the resort! However, if you would like to venture further, be sure to visit the beautiful Voyageurs State Park. It is known for its natural beauty and clear skies. Stargazers will love the brightness of the night sky, and you may even be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.
During the day, make sure to keep an eye out for birds! There are many species of geese, swans, and warblers that you can see. Some areas of the park that are great for spotting birds include Blind Ash Bay Trail and Echo Bay. Hikers can take a leisurely stroll through Rainy Lake Recreation Trail, or try their might on a strenuous hike such as Kab-Ash Trail. No matter how you choose to spend your time, you're sure to have fun!

We had a wonderful time at the Grandview of lake Kab resort. Highly recommend this for the “up north” cabin feel with an amazing view overlooking voyager national park islands. The resort is equipped with complementary canoes and kayaks, and there are boats to rent. Close to beautiful hiking areas. Will be back next year!! Thank you Mark and Shayna for your hospitality! Carina Jacobsson
We rented a pontoon boat from Grandview for the day while up on lake kab and couldn’t be happier with the service, price, etc. Very nice boat and these guys went above and beyond for us when it came to restocking some supplies that we were running low on. Highly recommend it! Thanks guys! Joe Homme
This was my fifth resort on Kab and after a week at Grandview I won’t be looking to try a sixth. The beauty of Kabetogama is unparalleled no matter where you stay but couple that with the staff at Grandview and it makes for a perfect vacation. The Lakeview cabin was clean, roomy and what a view! Mark and Pat took care of us on the dock, no not quite right, they pampered us on the dock, wiped down the boat in the morning, kept our bait full (better prices then the bait shops btw) and did a heck of a lot better job of cleaning our fish then I ever could have. Had boat problems as usual and Pat went out of his way to help us take care of that. The first couple days I wasn’t sure if these two were for real but by the end of the week I realize that they were great guys who genuinely love what they are doing and want to make sure that your week is perfect. Thanks again to Mark,Sheyna,Pat and Rachael, you’re really making Grandview a special place. You won’t find a better place and after staying here you won’t have to look any further. Todd Diedrichsen
We had the best time at Grandview. Mark, Sheyna, Pat and Rachel are terrific hosts. They treat you like family. The cabins are very clean and well taken care of. They’ll even clean the fish you’ve caught! We definitely want to return! Peg Goodrich
