Wait until you see the fantastic view of Eagles Nest Lake 1 from the deck of this lake home. Eagles Perch is a "lots of room" Northwoods Lakehome on the Shores of Eagles Nest Lake #1. The expansive wrap around deck is right on the shoreline, a short walk to the boat and "fish on". The lake is known for having great numbers of smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, perch, bluegills, and crappies. Convenient to town too, just 15 miles from Ely, MN.
Inside, the kitchen table seats 4; dining room table seats 6. The upper level living room has large picture windows and a great lake view and walk out deck! Separate lower level is perfect for groups with different age groups who want their own space to play and relax after a day on the water or exploring the BWCAW.
Sleeping arrangement: Master bedroom with queen size bed. Bedroom has twin bunks and additional twin bed. Lower level family room has a sleeper sofa for extra guests. Living room on upper level has sleeper sofa.
Things to remember: Bath/beach towels and toiletries.
Paddleboat and canoe are included in rental. Additional watercraft rentals are also available. Outdoor fire pit - private dock - Blue Ray players on each TV with lots of movie choices - no smoking cabin.
Eagles Perch has a large patio off the lower level (with propane grill and patio furniture), and the well stocked kitchen on the lower level includes refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and small electric appliances. Dish washing soap, garbage bags, kitchen towels and pot holder. Spread out! The family room has a wood burning fireplace and entertainment area.
You decide what’s more memorable; Watching the sunset over Eagles Nest Lake 1 every nigh, the delicious shore-lunch over the open camp fire, or boating two lakes. Our Lake is connected by a 75’ channel to Eagles Nest #2. That’s nearly 750 acres of fish-able water with no motor restrictions either.
Four seasons of fun! Eagles Perch is close to area skiing and snowmobiling trails (Eagles Perch is located close to a designated snowmobile trail so you can hop right on and go!) You can cross country ski and snowshoe right from the front door. With an average of 84 inches of snowfall each winter, our season can last into April. For a fishing experience of a lifetime, try “hard water” fishing.
Ely sits right on the edge of the famed Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). You are isolated and there are few signs of the outside world. Canoe day-trip passes are free. We can help you plan a safe and adventurous wilderness experience.
