Come and stay with us here in this cheerful vacation home for a chance to escape the rest of the world and enjoy nature - alone or with loved ones - any time of the year! This vacation home is located on the shore of Lake Inguadona. In the summer, enjoy a sunny vacation fishing or swimming in the lake. In cold Minnesota winters, go snowmobiling on the many miles of trails nearby or simply enjoy a few cozy days inside with TV and Internet. Great winter and summer fishing is just out the front door and the cabin is in the middle of thousands of acres of Chippewa National Forest which offers amazing grouse, turkey, and deer hunting opportunities.
The vacation home is embellished with bright, cheerful decor. Make use of the coffee maker, oven, and stove in the kitchen to prepare a hearty breakfast before heading out on a day’s adventure. And, use the refrigerator and freezer to store your groceries, so that you can avoid eating out if you don’t want to do so. In the living room, sprawl out on one of the couches and watch something on the flat screen TV.
The cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and one bedroom with double-sized bunk beds. Additionally included is a queen size sleeper sofa in the common area. There is also one bathroom with a shower.
One of our favorite parts of the cabin is the outdoor space it provides. Enjoy the new addition, a 24'x16' screened porch along with the outside fire pit while you relax with your drink of choice and wind down for the evening. Let the kids play in the yard and of course, make ample use of the lake during your stay! We’re excited for you to be able to truly enjoy nature in whatever way is best for you.
Visitors to Longville, Minnesota have a plethora of enjoyable activities in which they can participate. Especially if you enjoy the outdoors, you have come to the right place! At Deep Portage Learning Center, your group can experience and learn more about the area around them through summer camps, group tours, and more!
If you’re into biking and hiking, you have a variety of trails to choose from. There is the 120-mile-long Paul Bunyan trail that you can do part or all of, depending on your stamina and appetite for adventure. Alternatively, if you’re here in the summer - specifically in mid-June to mid-August, you’ve got to check out the traditional turtle races that are specific to this town!
For a bite to eat, check out Frosty’s Ice Cream & Pizza Parlor for fare that all kids and adults in your party should enjoy. Or, head to The Woodpile Grill and Mini Golf Course for an enjoyable outing followed by mouth-watering hot sandwiches of all kinds! The Common Grounds coffee shop also offers gourmet coffee or tea as well as homemade pastries, soups, sandwiches and deserts. Regardless of how you choose to spend your time, we are excited that you are spending it with us, and we hope that you are able to make memories that will last you long beyond your stay.
