Anglers! Ready to relax and fish without interruption? And we mean relax: the Vermilion River is a deep, slow moving, calm and tranquil fishery. This is one of the finest smallmouth and Northern Pike fisheries in all of Minnesota. Wilderness fishing will be a highlight experience, fishing where few fishermen reach! But you will also catch Walleye, crappie and perch!!
Housekeeping Cabin 6 is clean, with hot and cold running water and appliances like refrigerator, stove, shower, pots and pans and dishes are supplied. Also included are
pillow, linens and blankets, gas furnaces, bai/ice/gas and picnic tables are on grounds.
At our resort you have direst access to 17 navigable miles of the 49 mile long Vermilion River. We are the only resort on this area and you can not travel to other areas by water from us. Waterfalls divide us meaning you will be able to relax and fish in peace. There are only a handful of private owned cabins on the river The public access to difficult to navigate thru resulting in a more remote and private experience for you and your family or group! No fighting the next boat of anglers for YOUR fish..Plenty of eaters and trophy fish here! We are pet friendly for a small fee per pet.
We are the area's premier fishing and hunting resort. Our on-location store has T-Shirts Hats, Sweatshirts, Youth-sized T-shirts.
While at our resort you can ATV/UTV on the Voyager AVT trail system or try our old logging roads behind the resort. There are many!
Hike/bike/fish/hunt/canoe/sightsee the waterfalls or walk and take in the views. Or visit any of the areas lakes.(You might want to just fish the river though)!
Two of the seven cabins sleep up to 3 people, with the remaining five sleeping up to 8 people. This is perfect for your smaller, private wedding outdoors, graduation party, or family get together.

My boyfriend went here for a three day weekend and were very happy. The cabins were nice, had fridges, stoves, showers and all dishes. All you need to bring is towels, any paper towels and personal items. It was a very remote area along the Vermilion River so it was very quiet. Jesse, the attendant, was very nice and helpful w/ anything you needed. Plan on bringing any groceries you need ( a small grill too, there are a few but just in case) since it's not an easy jaunt to the grocery or liquor store. They do have ice there, though. We can't wait to go back next year. Thanks Leif and Jesse for a wonderful time!!
